Job Description

1. No of Posts : 10 Nos.
2. Scale of Pay : * Basic pay Rs.4100/- per month during the first year and Rs.4175/- per month during the 2nd year in the Pay scale of Rs.4100-75-4475-80-4875-90-6225 (W-II).
3. Upper Age Limit : 28 yrs.

Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and
03 years for Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) candidates and
an additional 05 years for Post at sr.no.1 and 10 yrs. for other Posts for Physically challenged candidates.
4. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per Government rules.
5. Further age relaxation may be considered in the cases where candidates posses experience of working in shipyards.
6. Although the post to be filled by PWD is for VH however provision of section 33 & 36 of PWD Act, 1995 shall be applicable. Hence candidates belonging to OH and HH may also apply.

(a) Benefits for posts such as DA, HRA or Company Subsidised accommodation and other allowances as applicable to the grade as per rules.
(b) Candidates having more experience in the relevant field and otherwise fulfilling the eligibility criteria may be considered for age relaxation at the discretion of the Management.
(c) Candidates working in Govt./Quasi Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or produce a “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview without which the candidates will not be interviewed.
(d) For post at Sr.No.1 candidates should have a minimum of two years experience in the immediate lower grade.
(e) Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria for shortlisting the applications.
(f) Outstation Candidates called for the interview for the post at Sr.No.1 will be reimbursed AC II tier fare and for posts at Sr.No.2 to 5 by IInd class sleeper by shortest route for interview only on production of proof of journey.
(g) The Govt. directives on reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen will be strictly followed.

Education

a) Essential : SSC and must posses heavy vehicle and heavy passenger motor vehicle driving license issued by Competent Authority. The candidate should have minimum 02 years experience in Operating Mobile Cranes / Heavy Motor Vehicles.

b) Desirable : Experience in operating Escorts /Lima / Coles/ TATA Tyre Mounted / Crawler Type / Lattice/ Telescopic Boom Cranes and should be able to drive light and heavy motor vehicles.
