Applications are invited for filling posts of Professor in various subjects in
the Government Institute of
Science, Maharashtra Education Service, Group-A (Collegiate Branch) :
Professor : 37 posts in various subjects,
Pay Scale : Rs.16400-22400,
Age : 45 years as on 01/07/09. Relaxation in age as per rules,
Qualification : An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in
research, with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and / or experience in research at the
University / National Level Institutions, including experience of guiding
research at doctoral level. OR An outstanding scholar with established
reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Application form : Application form with Prospectus in Red colour is available
in the designated Post Offices in their working hours for which the cost is
Rs.100/-. One form will be used one post only.
Application Fee : Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for BC) should be paid in the Post Office
by cash alongwith application.
The duly filled up Application Form along with required fee should be submitted
only at any of the designated Post Offices in their working hours on or before
20th April, 2009.
